Best 3 Walt Disney World Resort pools

Whether it’s the crystal-clear waters of the Seven Seas Lagoon, the turquoise hue of Bay Lake or the green-blue tint of Crescent Lake, there’s plenty of places to relax! Even the Walt Disney World Resort pools are a nice way to take a break from the parks.

Did you know every pool on Walt Disney property is heated? Yes, even in that 95 degree Florida weather!

Check out our top 3 picks for Walt Disney World Resort pools.

Number three on our Best Disney World pools list is Art of Animation. The main pool, which is called The Big Blue Pool, is located right outside the dinning and check in area. It is in the middle of the Finding Nemo themed rooms, so naturally, the pool is Finding Nemo themed. This pool is large and has plenty of space to swim. There is a small splash pad that is great for little kids. Besides the main pool, each theme has its own smaller pool. So if you’re looking for a pool that is less crowded, these smaller ones might be for you. This is one of my favorites basically just for the theme. Finding Nemo is such a cute movie and there are statues of the movie characters around the pool. This is a great opportunity to get some cool pictures.

Number two on our list is Boardwalk. So if you have not taken a stroll at the boardwalk, the theme of this hotel is a carnival on the pier. Its a really amazing hotel. With that being said, the Boardwalk’s main pool is amazing, and horrifying at the same time. It’s not as bad as you think, but there are clowns incorporated into the pool theme. If you can get past that, then its a really great place to relax. There is a water slide at this resort, that is one of the largest. It’s disguised as a cute roller coaster, so definitely check that out! So if you are afraid of clowns, this hotel might not be for you, but for those of you who are willing to look past it, I highly recommend just because it gives off a great atmosphere. There are some smaller pools that might be a better fit for some people so please do not let the clowns at the main pool scare you into not staying at this resort. There is also an ice cream shop down by the pier that has amazing ice cream, so you can get a sweet treat after you swim!

Number one on our list is the Yacht and Beach Club Resort pool. This is by far the BEST resort pool at Walt Disney World. First thing, there is a water slide, and it is the biggest and longest out of all the other resort slides. I highly recommend trying that out if you like water slides. There is a kiddy pool area by the entrance to the slide that has a shallow pool and a few small slides for your little ones. There is also a larger kiddy area that has sand at the bottom and is structured like a beach. There at a few hot tubes at this resort. One of them is more family friendly, while the other is more secluded and is adults only. There is plenty of room to sit down and relax. The atmosphere this resort has is so wonderful. There is also an ice cream parlor called Beaches and Cream which I highly recommend and is a great addition to your relaxation time! If you like to buy the resort mugs, consider taking them with you to the pool, as there is a refill station at Hurricane Hanna’s.
